Frederick Fischer, Jr.

FISCHER, Frederick Edward Jr. - Age 74, of Grand Blanc, died April 5, 2019. Private family services will be held. Frederick was born August 10, 1944 the son of Frederick Edward and Virginia Laura (Hughes) Fischer. He was a 1967 graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where he played on the football team. Mr. Fischer taught 8th grade at The Perry Center and Grand Blanc Middle School for many years until his retirement. He was a history buff and loved traveling, especially to historical locations. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking and hiking. He is survived by his children, Amy, Steven, Laura and David; 7 grandchildren; sister, Lynn (Ronald) Darnell; brothers, James (Becky) Fischer and Mark (Char) Fischer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
