Frederick Drouillard

DROUILLARD, Frederick William - age 80, of Davisburg, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his residence. Services will be held 12 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Drouillard was born October 15, 1934 in Detroit, the son of Joseph Richard and Ruth Augusta (Mielbeck) Drouillard. He married Shirley Ann Gardiner on May 11, 1957 and she preceded him in death on February 28, 2013. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and a member of the Fenton VFW. Mr. Drouillard enjoyed making stained glass and forging. Surviving are: daughter, Dawn Gressa and husband, Jared Krogsrud of Fenton; son, Derek Drouillard of Davisburg; four grandchildren, Brody and Brandon Drouillard, Nicole and Christa Gressa; two great-grandchildren, Adeline and Avery Ostrander. He was also preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Brittany Drouillard; and brother, Gerald Drouillard.
