Freda M. SHEPHARD

SHEPHARD, Freda -- Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. Private services will be held at a later time. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel. Mrs. Shepard was born December 12, 1922 in Flint. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII from 1944-1946. She married Jack Shephard on July 6, 1946; he preceded her in death February 13, 1988. She retired from A.C. Spark Plug - Division of General Motors with 25 years of service. Mrs. Shephard is survived by: her daughter Carol and husband Rod Driggett of Fenton; granddaughter Emily Driggett of Chicago; "adopted" daughter Patsy Murphy; sister-in-law, Ruby Holaly. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Shephard; son James Shephard; and two brothers, Nick and Taft Holaly.
