Freda Bromfield

BROMFIELD, Freda Ilene - age 88, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 10, 2008 Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bromfield was born July 11, 1919 in Sikeston, MO. She married Milo Auker in 1935 and they had three children. Freda was a taxi driver in Flint during World War II. She then married Robert Bromfield in 1945 and they had two children and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1972. Surviving are: five children, Marvin and wife, Carol Auker of Grand Blanc, Loretta and husband David Sibilsky of Swartz Creek, Darrell Auker of Burton, Robert "Daniel" Bromfield of Sanford, Scott Bromfield of Burton;12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Dillard of Fenton;sister, Thelma Wolfe of IN.
