Fred Vincent

VINCENT, Fred Leo - age 84 of Swartz Creek passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 31, 2014. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday August 7 at 2PM at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at 11AM until the time of the service. Fred was born November 8, 1929 in Gaines Township the son of Clifford and Beatrice Vincent. He married Shirley Lobdell October 29, 1948. He retired from Auto City Distributors where he was a proud teamster semi driver with a near perfect driving record for 25 years. He very much enjoyed his grandchildren, softball both playing and coaching, dog racing, horse racing and wintering in Florida. He is survived by his wife Shirley; three children, Carol (Roy) Vorachek of Flushing, Fred (Susan) Vincent of Byron, and Cathy (the late Frank) Hyrman of Swartz Creek. As well as 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and special cousin Nina Oakes.
