Fred F. NIELSEN

NIELSEN, Fred F. - Age 79, of Gaines Twp., died Thursday, June 3, 2010. Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday and from 1 PM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Crossroads Temple Church of God. Fred was born April 5, 1931 in Bloomfield Hills, the son of Earl and Edith Nielsen. He was married to Lisa A. Coulman on September 24, 1988. Mr. Nielsen retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 47 1/2 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Lisa; children, Sandra (Ted) Nolan, Fred L. Nielsen; grandchildren, Marla Nielsen and Adam Ford. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Nielsen; daughters, Terry Nielsen and Judy Ford.
