Franklyn Hultberg

HULTBERG, Franklyn Thomas - age 77, of Hartland, died June 13, 2020. A private service will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with a public live-stream at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Interment will be held at Hartland Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Franklyn was born October 5, 1942 in Lansing, the son of Evar and Eunice (Youngs) Hultberg. He married Sherry Volinsky on July 19, 1969. Franklyn was a carpenter by trade and a self employed building contractor. He also retired from Livingston County as the Building Inspector. Franklyn served on the Hartland Fire Department for 22 years and as Chief for 8 years. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and his tractor. Franklyn and his wife were also former owners of the Hartland Village Market. Surviving are: wife, Sherry Hultberg; four children, Becky (Jesse) Cahill of Fishers, IN, Jason (Kristyn) Hultberg of Frankenmuth, Rachael Hultberg of Hartland, and Sean Hultberg of Hartland; 6 grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Welton of Lansing; nephew, Bryan Dotts. He was preceded in death by: his father, Evar Hultberg; mother and step-father, Eunice and Donald Epley; and brother, Steve Hultberg. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
