SCHEUNEMAN, Frank S. - Age 83, of Fenton, MI was born August 17, 1938 and passed away August 29, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital after diabetic complications. He graduated from Clio High School in 1957. Frank was a successful entrepreneur of various businesses. After high school he first worked for Western Electric in upper Michigan. He later was a salesman at Al Serra in Grand Blanc. Then, sold life insurance for AUL in Flint where for several years was the Million Dollar Salesman of the year.  After marrying Bonnie Recker of Ohio, they bought a 10 acre farm in Howell where they bred, raised and showed Haflinger horses and some quarter horses, of which they raced in Mt. Pleasant, and one, "Oh Dear", was named Quarter Horse Gelding of the Year.  At this same time, Frank and his wife bought a restaurant in Flint. After a few years the restaurant was sold and he then managed a party/pizza store. And soon after, he started his own Buy Here Pay Here Car business which he had for over 10 years. At this time they bought a home on Bennett Lake in Fenton and 15 years later moved to the Coyote Residential and Golf Course Community in Fenton. He had four daughters, Christine, who was killed in an auto accident at the young age of 21, Carla Bradley, Carolyn Scheuneman, and Corrine Scheuneman-Morgan. His siblings include Delbert, Martha, Susan (Bob) and Violet. He also enjoyed the many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews in his life. Those who preceded him in death are his father, Frank Scheuneman, mother, Lucy Simcox; his older brother, Delbert; daughter, Christine Scheuneman; nephew, Norman Caruth; and son-in-law, John Morgan; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Robey and Wayne Caruth.  A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel in October for just the immediate family due to Covid. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Red Cross to those who have suffered through these recent storms or Adopt-A-Pet Fenton. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
