OCENASEK, Frank John  Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, June 08, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, June 11, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Swartz Creek where veterans honors will be performed under the auspices of Swartz Creek VFW/AMVETS Post # 3720. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Regional Kidney Center, 4200 Beecher Rd., Flint, for dialysis. Mr. Ocenasek was born November 28, 1921 in Swartz Creek, the son of John and Mary (Novak) Ocenasek. He married Irene Frances Trubiro on June 5, 1948. Mr. Ocenasek was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Atlantic and Pacific during World War II for four years. He retired from Fisher Body #1 in 1975 after 30 years of service. Mr. Ocenasek was a member of the U.A.W. and St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife, of 57 years, Irene Frances Ocenasek of Swartz Creek; brother, Stanley Ocenasek and wife, Rena of Flushing; sister, Mary Scheitler of Swartz Creek; several nieces and nephews.
