Frank A. Messina

MESSINA, Frank A., age 45, of Linden, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at home.  Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Saturday, October 7, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A vigil service will be held 8PM Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the children's educational fund. Frank was born August 28, 1961 in Detroit, the son of Anthony and Vincenza 'Vera' (Ciravino) Messina.  Frank graduated from Henry Ford High School.  On June 13, 1987 in Fenton, Frank married Janice Marie Boettge.  He was employed by Peter Basile Construction Company, and a member of Union Operator Engineers #324.  Frank attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was a member of Fenton Moose Lodge. Frank is survived by his wife of 19 years, Janice; 3 children, Anthony, Frankie, and Angela; 3 sisters, Jo Messina of Westland, Jackie (Conrad) Ferriter of Wyandotte, Ann Marie (Michael) Beger of Hartland; 1 brother Peter (Linda) Messina of South Lyon; in-Laws, Fred and Sharon Boettge of Linden; 2 brother-in-laws, James Boettge of Algonac, Robert (Rebecca) Boettge of Las Vegas; sister-in-law, Carol Dorr of Linden; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Those desiring may share online condolences or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
