BORST, Frank W. Â Age 74, of Lennon, died Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 26, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Paul Amstutz officiating. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation. Mr. Borst was born October 5, 1929 in Swartz Creek, the son of Frank Lionel and Bertha Marie (Parker) Borst. He married Patricia L. Thayer on October 7, 1950 in Flint. Mr. Borst was a Splicing Technician with Michigan Bell for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was the Village of Lennon President and served on the Village Council for many years. Mr. Borst was a member of the American Telephone Pioneers and a life member of the Communication Workers of America (CWA) Union. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed the cabin at Beaver Lake in the Northern Woods. Surviving are: wife, Patricia of Lennon; two daughters, Debra and husband, Dave Schuyler, Denise and husband, Ralph Turner, all of Bancroft; son, Robert Borst and wife, Dana of Flint; five grandchildren, Breanne, Jeffrey, Michael, Nicholas, and Frank; one great-grandchild, Logan; two sisters, Joan and husband, Paul Klepi of Lennon, Marjorie and husband, Ron Warren of Lachine.
