Frank John Banacki

BANACKI, Frank John- Age 67, of Swartz Creek, died Monday October 23, 2006 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, October 27, 2006 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek.  Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant.  Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 3-8 PM Thursday.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.  Frank was born Febraury 25, 1939 in Flint, the son of Walter and Anna (Sutak) Banacki.  He married Karen Daine Crabtree August 20, 1960 in Flint and she preceded him in death May 25, 2005.  He retired from GMSPO in 1996 after 39 years of service.  He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and U.A.W. Local 659.  Surviving are: 4 children, Babette and husband Paul Snider of Clarkston, Alison and husband Richard Sagamang of Mt. Morris, Francie Nault of Flint, Amy Banacki of Flint; 5 grandchildren, Jessica and husband Jason McClelland, Shannon Sagamang, Colleen Nault, William and Sara Snider; great-granddaughter, Charlie Paige McClelland; brother, Walter Banacki, Jr. and wife Mary of Franklin; sister, Betty Hammontre of Swartz Creek; sister-in-law, Janet Banacki of Flint; many cousins,nieces and nephews; special friends, Fred and Shirley Engbloom, Butch and Diane Marose.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert April 2005.
