Francisco "Frank" Martinez

MARTINEZ, Francisco (Frank) - Age 66 of Fenton, formerly of Flint. Passed away on July 11, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Frank was a loving father of two, grandfather of two, soon-to-be great grandfather, and brother of many. He was a firefighter and an involved member of the community for years. Frank had a gift of always seeing the best in people and finding the silver lining of any situation. Frank loved to help as many people as he could no matter the cost to himself. Some of Franks favorite past times were fishing, camping, and hot rods. Frank has survived multiple amputations, chemotherapy, heart complications, and a life long struggle with diabetes. After the loss of his son Luz Martinez in 2020 and the passing of his best friend/cousin Abel Garza in 2021 he felt he was missing pieces of himself. He was called home to be with his favorite people once again after a surgical complication. The Martinez family is asking for donations to help put Francisco to rest and honor his incredible legacy. Frank is survived by his son, Roberto (Katherine) Martinez; grandchildren, Robby (Tessa) Martinez, and Olivia Martinez; siblings; Beatrice Smith, Virginia (Bob) Johnston, James (Lynn) Martinez, Joe (Marilyn) Martinez; and Jessie Martinez.
