Francisca Hinojosa

HINOJOSA, Francisca - Age 93, of Flint, died Friday, December 4, 2020. Private funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (Live Streaming of the service can be viewed on Francisca's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. Paul Donnelly officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Public visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Children's Miracle Network or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Francisca was born August 22, 1927 in Galveston, TX, the daughter of Manuel and Maria (Rodriguez) Molina. She married Alfredo Hinojosa in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She had resided in Flint since 1965 coming from Galveston, TX. Francisca was employed by Arby's. She was a very active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She also was a volunteer for the Children's Miracle Network and Hurley Hospital. Surviving are: her children, Marcia Duran, Juanita (Billy) Holder, Alfredo Hinojosa, Jr., Victor Hinojosa, Bob Hinojosa, Petra Hinojosa, and George (Veronica) Hinojosa; 50 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ameila Calvan; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Hinojosa; son-in-law, Aleusion Duran; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
