Francis Sine Jr.

SINE, Francis James Jr. - Age 90, of Linden, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021. In accordance with Francis' wishes cremation will take place and interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden.

Francis was born on February 10, 1931 in Roscommon the son of Francis and Esther (Reynolds) Sine. He graduated from Merritt Agricultural High School. Francis proudly served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. He and Virginia Brimmer were united in marriage on February 27, 1960 in Houghton Lake. Francis worked for Chevrolet V-8 plant for 19.5 years before retiring in 1996. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, softball and hunting

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia Sine; 3 sons, Mark (Pamela) Sine, Michael (Nancy) Sine and Murray (Twila) Sine; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Andrea, Brittany, Brady, Skyler and Kylee; 4 great-grandchildren, Donovan, Kassidy, Parker and Preston; and several nieces and nephews.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Raymond Sine and sister, Catherine Good. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
