JOBE, Francis D. Â Age 80, of Fenton, died October 1, 2004 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, October 4, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Interment in Tyrone Memory Gardens with a VFW Honor Guard service under the auspices of Fenton VFW Curtis Wolverton Post 3243. Visitation will be held 2-5 and 7-9 PM Saturday and Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek Building Fund or Genesys Hospice. Mr. Jobe was born December 14, 1923 in Dalton, NE, the son of Amos W. and Lillian (Olson) Jobe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He married Margaret Aagard on August 24, 1945 in Fergus Falls, MN. He came to Flint in 1955 to work for G. M. and retired from G.M. with 24 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek, American Legion Post 38. He enjoyed farming and restoring John Deere tractors. Surviving are: wife, Margaret; children, Linda Redman of Fenton, Frank Allen Jobe of Fenton, Karen (Kenneth) Murphy of Fenton, Barbara (Richard) McMaster of Lapeer, Deborah (Ronald) Renkiewicz of Montrose, Doretta (John) Alexander of Durand; 15 grandchildren, Frank (Sue) Jobe, Syndra (Paul) Feetham, Jeremy (Jen) Jobe, Bill Kehoe, Angela (Kevin) Bidelman, Kenneth Kehoe, Kristi Murphy, Patrick McMaster, John Renkiewicz, Sean (Dawn) Renkiewicz, Krista Renkiewicz, Troy Renkiewicz, Teresa (Brent) Porter, Ashley Alexander, Jacob Alexander; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rowena Snyder of Minnesota, Marjory (Bill) Stuckey of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Al Builte; brother-in-law, Eddie Snyder; 2 sons-in-law, Al Redman and Bill Kehoe.
