Frances Ann STANFORD

STANFORD, Frances Ann - age 65, of Flushing, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 5-8 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Mt. Hope Church SLAM. Mrs. Stanford was born June 17, 1944 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Paul Francis and Julia Irene (Varga) Pitts. She married Marvin E. Stanford on May 18, 1967. Mrs. Stanford was in real estate for 15 years and also worked in retail sales. She was currently a Gold with Young Living Essential Oils. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: husband, Marvin E. Stanford; son, Fred Stanford of Flushing; two daughters, Juliann and husband, Tim Brooks of Flushing, Shannon and husband, Brian Hudson of Grand Blanc; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Brooks, David Hudson, Joshua Brooks, Alicia Hudson, Cassie Hudson, Naomi Stanford and Breanna Hudson; two great-grandchildren, Arianna Hall and Brody Brooks; brother, David Pitts and wife, Toni; two sisters, Trudy and husband, Moses Lindenauer, Mary Woods.
