Frances C. Kalemis

Kalemis, Frances C. - Age 99, of Grand Blanc, passed away November 25, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 12 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to North End Soup Kitchen. 

Frances was born April 10, 1924 in Worth, MI., near Standish, MI., the daughter of Anthony and Michalina (Bezdjecki) Kozlowski.  She was a Director of Nursing at the Kings Daughters & Sons Home For The Aged.  She was loving, giving and kind. Frances had a great sense of humor and everyone enjoyed hearing her laugh. She enjoyed nature, car rides, knitting, water color painting and ice cream. Above all things, Frances enjoyed her family. She is survived by her children; Tasia M. Kalemis of Grand Blanc, Andrean L. (Russell Eickhoff) Kalemis of San Jose, CA.; granddaughter, Elani Eickhoff; nieces, Kate (Tom) James and Maria (David) Mazza and their families. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Kalemis; parents; sisters, Lucy Deshaw, and Josephine Wright; brothers, Stanley Kozlowski, Chet Kozlowski,and Charlie Kozlowski.
