Frances M. Duncan

DUNCAN,  Frances (McKeehan), age 78, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy.  Mrs. Duncan was born in Georgia on March 2, 1928. Mrs. Duncan married Albert H. Duncan in 1944 in Dalton, Georgia and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1999. She had been a Flint resident most of her life until moving to Sterling Heights in 1999. She had been a long time member of St. Pius X  Catholic Church and a member of the Sterling Heights Senior Citizens. Surviving is her daughter; Dana (Richard) Everden of Sterling Heights: her sons; Robert (Rose) Duncan of Burton and Charles (Michelle) Duncan of Flint.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Chad, Nathan, Amanda, Angela, Jason and Brady along with 6 Great-grandchildren and a sister, Bertha Carlock in Georgia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by per parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 6, 2006 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth, Flint.  Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland will officiate and burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Her family will receive visitors at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp. from 6 to 8 P.M. tonight and Thursday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
