Frances Creager

CREAGER, Frances Nell - Age 98, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday October 6, 2018. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location, Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek. Frances was born October 3,1920 in Crossett AR, the daughter of the late Burley Morris and Hattie (Johnson) Woods. She married Matthew Marvin Creager in Arkansas in 1937, and he preceded her in death in July of 1964. Frances enjoyed reading,walking, bird watching and working in her flower gardens. Mrs. Creager retired from Angelo's Coney Island in 1981 with 30 years of service. She is survived by her son, Matthew M. Creager Jr. of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Stephanie Creager of Tawas; great grandchildren, Cody Day of Petoskey, Kyle (Madison) Jungnitsch of Merrill, Colby Collett of Burton ; great great grandchildren, Baxton Jungnitsch and Silas Day. Frances is also survived by her siblings, Dorene Edmonds of Swartz Creek, brother, Burley Woods of TX, Jeanette Coyne of AR; many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her seven brothers and sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Maplewood Manor.
