Frances Lee Cooper

Frances Lee Cooper (82) of Dorr, Michigan (formerly of St. Johns, Michigan) died on May 3, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, May 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, Michigan 48430. The service may be viewed by livestream from a link on Fran's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 11 immediately preceding the memorial service. Fran was born December 3, 1941 in Albion, Michigan to the late Lee Francis and Marjorie Lucille (Olson) Kinney. She married Harold Maurice Cooper on August 1, 1964 in East Lansing; he preceded her in death on August 6, 2004. Fran was a proud graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Home Economics and Child Development. She was a Pre-School teacher for many years. Fran was a member of First Congregational Church and President of Women's Fellowship. She served on several committees at St. Johns Public Schools and was also a 4-H leader for many years. Fran was an avid knitter, sewer, birdwatcher, basket weaver, and gardener. She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Dan) Muszynski of Livonia, Michigan and Molly (Rich) Tomlinson of Byron Center, Michigan; 6 grandchildren, Emma, Madison, Sarah, Mac, Nate and Ben; sister, Deborah (Hans) Norbotten of Chelsea, Michigan.
