Frances Laverne CLARK

CLARK, Frances Laverne - age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 3, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Kay Adair officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice. Mrs. Clark was born May 1, 1925 in McLeanboro, IL, the daughter of Shalen Elmer and Bertha (Dennison) Hamilton. She married Edgar Fulton Clark on August 19, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, MO and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2001. Mrs. Clark was a school bus driver for Grand Blanc Public Schools retiring in 1976. Surviving are: two sons, Terry Clark and wife, Donna of Byron, Ed Clark and wife, Sarah of Swartz Creek; daughter, Connie Fish of Port Austin; four grandchildren, Jeffrey David (Linda) Clark, Wendy Raenae Clark, Carrie Suzanne (Kevin) Towns and Zachary John (Jessica) Clark; two great-grandsons, Sawyer Robert Towns and Connor Michael Clark. She was also preceded in death by: son-in-law, Robert Fish; four brothers and two sisters.
