BUTTLER, Frances Adelaide, - Age 96, of Durand, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Paul L. Amstutz Officiating. Internment at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Crohns Colitis Ileitis Foundation (C.C.I.F.). Frances was born January 27, 1914 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Sweet) Gregson. She married Cecil Buttler on June 27, 1936 and he preceded her in death 1993. Frances enjoyed volunteering at her church and also with school activities, especially Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, earlier in life she was a member of the Eastern Star. Surviving are daughter Sharon (Dave) Kraysovic of Gaines; daughter-in-law, Jean Buttler of Gaines; grandchildren, Kelly (Ron) Stano of Commerce Twp., Rick (Stacie) Kraysovic of Swartz Creek, Jason (Chris) Buttler of TN, Jamie (Aaron) Duesing of FL, Greta (Nate) Foco of Royal Oak, Chuck (Christina) Buttler of Grand Blanc; Great Grandchildren, Brian and Shanna Satkowiak, Brooke and Courtney Stano, Jana and Rachael Kraysovic, Jarod, Nolan and Paxton Duesing, Noelle and Holden Foco and Carter Buttler; sister Erma Crites of Owosso; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceded her in death by her son Richard "Dick" Buttler, granddaughter, Kimberly Kraysovic-Satkowiak, brothers Lyle and Tom Gregson and sister Florence Smith.
