BAIN, Frances Geraldine - Age 88, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord and into the loving arms of God, Saturday, November 13, 2004 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Ted Wille officiating.  Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Thursday and 1-4 and 6-8 PM Friday.  Mrs. Bain was born February 16, 1916 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of Lawrence Sr. and Frances  (Kuril) Mechura.  She had lived in Flint  most of her life.  She married Charles Gulash, Sr. and he preceded her in death; then she married William David Bain and he preceded her in death in 1961.  She retired from GM after 25 years service, first at Fisher I then Ternsted.  She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Friendship Club of Swartz Creek and Czech singers group.  She loved watching and feeding the birds and she enjoyed her flowers,  especially her roses and petunias.  She loved to sit outside and give her dog Tiny treats.  Surviving are: 2 sons, William D. Bain of Flushing, Charles and wife Jackie Gulash of Missouri; 2 daughters, Diane Wilcox of Flint, Beatrice and husband Dick Palmrose of Tennessee; special granddaughter, Sherri Beasinger and husband Brian of Swartz Creek; and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Arnold of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, David Gulash; 2 brothers, John and Lawrence Mechura; 3 sisters, Mildred Mechura, Anna Haicl and Mary Shoebridge; special niece, Marlene Mechura and special aunt, Teresa Trpelka.
