WILLIAMS, Fonda May  Age 75, of Flint, died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 20, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Gerald G. Lerche officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 3-5 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Bethel College, Attn: Suzanne Huffman, 1001 West McKinley Ave, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Mrs. Williams was born January 21, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Fred and Sadie (Brumbaugh) Lingenfelter. She was a 1947 graduate of Flint Northern High School, a 1957 graduate of Bethel College, IN and received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 1960. She married Harold Williams on July 2, 1960. Mrs. Williams was a life long member of Dayton Heights Community Church (formerly, Dartmouth Missionary Church), where she taught Sunday school for 50 years. She enjoyed reading and playing games, was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed traveling the 48 states, Canada and Mexico with her husband. Surviving are: husband, Harold Williams of Flint; sister, Theda Casner of Swartz Creek; two brothers, William Lingenfelter and wife, Betty of Flint and Florida, Fred Lingenfelter and wife, Ruth of Belton, MO; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great great-nieces and nephews.
