Floyd Andrew Krause

KRAUSE, Floyd Andrew - Age 86, of Ellenton, FL formerly of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed below Floyd's obituary here). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. 

Floyd was born March 3, 1939 in Flint, the son of Casimir W. and Evelyn M. (O'Hara) Krause. He was a 1957 graduate of Dye High School and he attended GMI. He married Eila Mae Cooper February 1, 1957 in Flint. He retired in 1994 from G.M.S.P.O in Swartz Creek as a Quality Control Supervisor. Floyd was a member of the Fenton Moose, Fenton Eagles, and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Euchre, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. 

Surviving are: his beloved wife of 68 years, Eila; children, Jeff (Lisa) Krause of Linden, Paula Davidson of Delton, Karen (Ron) Eible of DeWitt, and Joe (Janice) Krause of Flint; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir and Evelyn Krause; and brothers, James and George Krause. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Swan Hospice
