Floyd H. GRIFFITHS

GRIFFITHS, Floyd H., age 83 of Linden died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. He was born in Buffalo, NY on March 26, 1926 the son of Hugh and Clara (Clitheroe) Griffiths. He and Norma Luther were married in New York in 1950. He has lived in the Linden area since 1995. Mr. Griffiths was retired from Westinghouse Electric Co. after 47 years service. Surviving are his wife, Norma; his two sons; David Griffiths of Linden and Hugh (Kelly) Griffiths of Fenton. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; Ryan, Emily, Heather and two sisters; Annie Parry and Corrine Williams, both in Wales. Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Sharp Funeral Home Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Donald Neuville will officiate. Visitation with the family at the funeral home will be from 1 to 4 P.M. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Caretel Inns of Linden.
