CRELLEY, Floyd Phillip - age 58, of Fenton, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David W. Harvey celebrant. Internment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-9 p.m. Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. followed by a Knights of Columbus service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the ALS Foundation of Michigan or the St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Floyd was born July 7, 1951 in Pontiac, the son of Herbert and Margaret (Walker) Crelley. He was a 1969 graduate of Pontiac Central High School and a 1972 graduate of Lawrence Technical College. Floyd worked at John McGaffey Co. in Fenton for 25 years. He married Paula Marie Zeffero on July 22, 1994. Floyd was a very active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he was a team member of several Christ Renews His Parish retreats and also was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Floyd enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, weekly poker games with the boys and lovingly provided unending care for his wife. He also spent as much time as possible in Suttons Bay and created countless memories with friends during the houseboat and canoe trips. Surviving are: wife, Paula; five children, Stephanie Jane (Max) Reck of Northville, Colleen Marie (Duane) Maier of Novi, Collette Marie (Thomas) Shouse of Fenton, Carly Ann Adams of Fenton, Dominic Lee Adams of Ft. Wayne IN; grandchildren Mason, Abigail, Hayden, Alexandria, Mallory, Molly and a granddaughter to be; father-in-law, Robert (Jeanine) Zeffero of Suttons Bay and loyal dog Scooter.
