Florence Tencza

TENCZA, Florence Elizabeth - Age 92, of Fenton, died Friday, June 3, 2022.  Per Florence's request, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held.  Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity.

Florence was born in Detroit.  She married Stanley Edward Tencza, who preceded her in death.  She had resided in Fenton since 1973 coming from Livonia/Detroit.  Florence was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton and a original member of the Fenton Art Guild.

Surviving are: her daughters, Karen McGinnis of Fenton and Eliza Tencza and husband Bill Roberson of Oakland, CA; grandson, Brendan McGinnis and fiancee' Adrienne Neubert of Kalamazoo; brother, James Igrisan of Livonia; sister, Amy Waters and husband Edward of Olathe, KS; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Kereji, Stella Cousins, and Lydia Igrisan; and brothers, Emil and Robert Igrisan.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
