Florence Emiline Niestroy

Niestroy, Florence Emiline - Age 83, of Linden, died November 21, 2024. Funeral services will be held 7 PM Monday November 25, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held 3 PM until the time of the funeral at 7 PM on Monday November 25. Those desiring may make contributions to Adpot-A-Pet of Fenton. 

Florence was born June 26, 1941 in Detroit, the daughter of Theodore and Jean (Ryckman) Gillespie. She married James V. Niestroy on June 4, 1960. She and her husband James owned and operated Cornell Sign Company for over 40 years. She loved the outdoors and flower gardening. She loved being "Ging" to all of her grandchildren. 

Surviving are: her husband of 64 years, James; children, Beth Morrow (Bobby Leist) of White Lake, James (Susan) Niestroy of Fenton; grandchildren, Chrysa, Kaitlyn (Patrick), Meghan (Josh), Jarrett (Sydney), Camryn, Hannah, Kendall (Nick), Eric (Courtney), Nathan (Marielle); many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Theodore and John; son Christopher; and granddaughter Raelyn.
