Florence Beard

BEARD, Florence Alma - age 80, of Fenton, died October 25, 2019. Funeral service will be held at 12 PM Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Michigan. Florence was born August 13, 1939 in Morton County, North Dakota the daughter of Carl and Ella (Joersz) Westmeyer. She lived and raised her family in Fenton for the last 50 years. She was a LPN at McLaren Flint for over 20 years. She was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Linden.
Florence loved watching scary movies and old TV shows, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and doing puzzles. She absolutely loved anything the color purple.
Surviving are: her daughters; Deborah Hawkins, Cheryl (Kenneth) Pool, and Teresa Ingram; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Corey, Sarah, and Emerald Fleming, Anthony George, Rashard Ingram, and Alexander, Teagan, and Dalton Pool, Also surviving are her two sisters Eileen Solberg, and Stella Westmeyer, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband Robert Hawkins, husband John Beard, three sisters, and three brothers. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
