Flora Hedger

Hedger, Flora Caroline "Jackie" - Age 76, of Grand Blanc, died November 1, 2017. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 8 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, Rev. Dr. Sang Abraham Chun officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the McLaren Ladies Auxiliary. Flora was born on May 23, 1941 in the Nashville, Tennessee area to Jack and Maureen (Hooper) Florida. She was married to James Hedger and he preceded her in December 16, 2002. She had worked for Beverly Manor, Comcast and then McLaren. Upon retirement she continued to volunteer at McLaren. She loved to cook, garden and spend time with her family. She enjoyed making cakes for many occasions for many people. Surviving are two sons; James Hedger and Leo Hedger both of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Alicia Miller, Loretta Hedger, and Abigail Hedger; one great grandchild, Harley Miller; siblings, Bill Florida, Lon (Mary) Florida, Mike Florida, Loretta Smith, James Florida, Sheila Younglove-Minor (Tom Minor); many nieces and nephews.
