Fern Veselsky

VESELSKY, Fern Eileen (Zimmerman) - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. Memorial service will take place 3 PM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Memorial gathering will take place from 11 AM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Fern was born on July 22, 1944 in Durand the daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth (Wilke) Zimmerman. She graduated from Linden High School, class of 1962. Fern would stay home to raise her children. She married Joseph Veselsky on September 10, 1988 in Argentine. Fern liked to ride with Joe across the country as they delivered travel trailers. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Georgia and Wisconsin.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence Zimmerman, Matthew (Marti) Berlin, Curtis (Emily) Berlin, Elizabeth (Dan) Malkinski, Megan (Matt) Mowinski, Lou  (Chuck) Kirchner, Donna Krenzke, Amy (Jeff) Weaver and Joanne Veselsky; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Earl (Stephanie) Zimmerman; step-sister, Kathy Boyce; and several nieces and nephews.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents; step-mother, Ruby Zimmerman; and step-sisters, Janet Wolford and Mary Barker. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
