Ferda Stinehart

STINEHART, Ferda Ruth - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023.  No service will be held.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden.

Ferda was born March 29, 1940 in Detroit, the daughter of Ferdinand and Doris (Goodman) Amenson.  She was a 1958 graduate of Taylor Center High School.  She married Lowell Stinehart September 26, 1959 in Allen Park and he preceded her in death November 29, 2021.  She had resided in Fenton for the past 30 years.  Ferda retired in 2008 from Child Care.  She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Linden.  She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, crocheting, stain glass, canning and working in her vegetable garden.

Surviving are: her son, Paul Stinehart of Fenton; sister, Loretta (Joseph) Donaldson of Allen Park; brother, Douglas (Mary) Amenson of White Lake; special friend, Katherine McKenna Stephenson of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Doris Amenson.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
