Federico Vela, Jr.

Vela, Federico Jr. - Age 79, of  Flint, went to be with his Lord, Friday, January 1, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 2415 Bagley St., Flint. Visitation 4 PM-8 PM Wednesday and 2 PM-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc and 10 AM until the time of Mass Friday at Church. A Rosary will be recited 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.

Federico was born May 6, 1941 in Yorktown, Texas, the son of Federico and Telesfora (Perez) Vela. He married Sandra Reyna on December 9, 1994. He retired from General Motors. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 26 years Sandra; fourteen children, Alex, Antonio (Taylor), Angel (Kurston), Celia (DeMichael), Victor, Federico IV, Andres, Anthony (Megan), Renea, Albert, Norma (Robert), Michael, Steven, Roger;

many grandchildren, Anthony, Breaunna, Mya, Max, Aliyah, Angel, Alicia, Carlos, Jaiden, Mylah, Santino, Natalia, Alexis, Freddie, DeMichael Jr., Ayana, Gabriela, Zachary, Michael Jr, Alivia, and Ryver;
