ALTON, Fay Marie - age 93 of Fenton, died Monday, November 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Interment at Roseland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 PM - 4 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice. Fay was born February 17, 1924 in Detroit, the daughter of Ray and Nettie (Sears) Silverthorn. Surviving are: children, Joyce M. (Marvin) Johnson, Shirley J. (Ron) Carlson, Cindy (Mike) Hottinger, Larry Alton, and Judy Presson; grandchildren, Cindy (Keith), Heidi (John), Janice (Bill), Tammy (Scott), Michele, Kelly (Dan), Kevin (Carole), Melina, Nicole (Lon), Kelly, Jenny (Brent), Mick (Amber), Jonathan (Katy), Brook (Brian); many great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Thomas MacIlroy and G. Jay Alton, Jr. The family extends a special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice.
