MOSHER, F. Donald -- Age 93, of Swartz Creek, died May 22, 2019. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Tuesday , May 28 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road Flint, Pastor Donald Burkholder officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of the funeral Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Alzheimers Association. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at the Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Donald was born July 11, 1925 in Tucscola County, MI, the son of Percy A. and Elsie L. (Taylor) Mosher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He married Mary Glenn on March 3, 1951. He had worked for McDonald Dairy and then General Motors - Buick for 25 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the North Baptist Church. Don was known for his kindness and generosity. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and playing cards. Surviving are: his wife of 68 years Mary; four children, Susan Beach (fiance Tom McIalwain) of Swartz Creek, David (Mary) Mosher of Valparaiso, IN, Brian (Pam) Mosher of Swartz Creek, Karen (Glenn) Airgood of Flint; eight grandchildren, Rusty Beach, Jacob Beach, Kari (Adam) Williams, Natasha Mosher, Tiffany (Brad) Markowicz, Kailee Mosher, Jessica Baade (fiancé, Jerame Hitchens), Dylan Baade; five great-grandchildren and one due soon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Julie Ann; grand-daughter Kristina; three sisters; and three brothers. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
