SWEENEY, Evelyn Patricia "Pat" - Age 81, of Fenton/Palm Harbor, FL, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Jim Weigand officiating. Pat was born March 2, 1935 in Pontiac, the daughter of Thomas E. and Eleanor (Chase) Seavey. She was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and attended graduate studies at Michigan State University. She retired from the Carman-Ainsworth School District where she taught for 40 years. She also was a member of a quilting guild in Florida. Surviving are; companion, Don Frew of Fenton; 3 daughters, Diane Rodgers of Pontiac, Mary and husband Robert Cunningham of Gaines, and Judith and husband Steven Sims of Fenton; grandchildren, Rachelle and husband Fady Elias, Melissa and husband Robert Barton, Branden Sims, and Alexis Rodgers; great grandchildren, Alida, Lincoln, and Kylee; brothers, Thomas Seavey and William and wife Marilyn Seavey; sister, Ernestine Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
