SNELL, Evelyn Elaine -- Age 93, of Swartz Creek, died January 5, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday, January 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Mr. Bill Maguffee officiating. Interment in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday, and 12 Noon until the time of the funeral Friday. Memorial contributions may be made the the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Evelyn was born July 1, 1916 the daughter of Edmond and Harriet Cobleigh. She was married to Ken Snell for 72 happy years. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Evelyn was the loving mother of Norma Snell, Ray (Bobbie) Snell and Dee (Dallas) Cathey. She had nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; sister, Margaret Hobson; and two brothers, Joe and Lawrence Cobleigh. The family extends a special thanks to Avalon Hospice.
