Evelyn Kolacheck

KOLACHECK, Evelyn Pearl - age 61, of Flint, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. Services will be announced at a later date by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Evelyn was born December 5, 1956 in Flint, the daughter of Benjamin and Maxine (New) Klein. She married Alan Henry Kolacheck in Flint on December 19, 1976; and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2001 after 25 years of marriage. Evelyn worked for Westwood Heights schools, retiring in 2012 after 28 years as a custodian for most of the time and also did some building engineering. She loved movies and music. She had a fond appreciation for Elvis. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas, and scrap booking. Surviving are: her beloved daughter, Robin Dunlap and husband Timothy of Flint; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Mohler, Emily Mohler, and Allyson Mohler; honorary son-in-law, Aaron Mohler. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; step-mother, Alice Klein; and special friend, Darlene Arnold. A special thank you to the staff of Willowbrook Manor, especially: Laura, Regina, Kim, and the office staff who were always so friendly, caring, and helpful.
