MORGAN, Evans "Sandy" William August, Jr. - age 76, of Evart, MI, died Monday, February 29, 2016 at Altercare in Big Rapids. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, March 4, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1 PM Friday. Mr. Morgan was born February 3, 1940 in Hazel Park, the son of Evans William August and Gladys Esther (Studt) Morgan, Sr. He was a self-employed builder and loved horses, breeding and showing thoroughbreds for many years. Surviving are: two children, Patricia Ann Heasty and Ronald William Morgan; three grandchildren, Matthew Heasty, Jennifer Morgan and Justin Morgan; great-grandchildren, Katrina Walker and Kendall Morgan; three siblings, William (Cheryl) Morgan, Peggy (Neil) McQuinn and James (Patricia) Morgan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
