Eva Sprague

January 19, 1954 — April 13, 2025

SPRAGUE - Eva Ann, age 71 of Burton, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. In accordance with Eva's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Eva's Life will be held from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Eva to the Compassion of Jesus Outreach in Flint, Michigan.

Eva was born on January 19, 1954 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harry and Joan Jacobi. She graduated from Davison High School in 1972. Along with her husband Rex, they continued The Compassion of Jesus Outreach in Flint, Michigan in 2020. Contributing to the community with events such as barbeques for the homeless, spiritual guidance, as well as the necessities for individual’s needs. They also partnered with MBK of Flint and The Center of Hope in Flint on multiple events. She really enjoyed ministering and spreading the true gospel to those less fortunate. Eva's favorite hobbies when she was younger were boating and sailing. She had a passion for boating on the Great Lakes and making many memories with her family. She took pleasure in cross stitching, crocheting and she spent a lot of time making gifts for family and friends. Above all else, Eva loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy in life.

Surviving is her husband, Rex C. Sparks, Jr. of Burton. Children, Heather (Jon) Van Drie of Texas, Steven (Phoebe) Sprague of California, Barbara (Jason) Humenchick of North Carolina, Carl Sparks of Michigan, Earl Sparks of Michigan, David (Rachel) Sparks of Michigan, John (Misty) Sparks of Michigan, and Rebecca (Brad) Ennis of Michigan. Grandchildren; Brandon, Austin, Shane, Arthur, Andrew, Alivia, Kayla, Salena, Collin, McKayla, Meagan, Jasmine, Sam and Alisa as well three great-grandchildren. Siblings; Julie (Kurt) Kosbar of Missouri and Gay (Berry) Polley of Michigan. Nieces and nephews; Autumn (Keith) Jaeger, James Kosbar, and Mikel Polley. Eva was preceded in death by her parents.
