Eva L. Render

RENDER, Eva L - Age 69, of Fenton, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Medi-Lodge of Howell. Funeral services will be held at 3PM Monday, October 6, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Pastor Laura Kelsey officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6-9PM, and Monday from 11 AM - 3PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Livingston County Hospice. Mrs. Render was born January 8, 1934 in Hartland Township, the daughter of Rollin E. and Hazel B. (Holland) Sparks. Eva married Ivan R. Render on December 10, 1952 in Howell and she was a resident of the Hartland/Fenton/Parshallville area her entire life. She worked as a secretary at University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor for many years retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church and sang in the Michigan-Ohio Concert Choir for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, ceramics, reading and traveling. Surviving are: husband, Ivan; 3 children: Vickie Straehly and husband Elvis of Hale, MI, Pattie Arnold and husband Scott of Gregory, MI, Brian Render and wife Sylvia of Hartland; five grandchildren, Kevin, Jamie, Dillon, Kelly, Sarah; one sister Edith Kors and husband Edward of Howell; sister-in-law Beverly Sparks of Fairview, MI.
