Euwell Horne

HORNE, Euwell Carlton -- Age 76, of Otisville, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family on Friday, September 11, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1PM Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Guiding Light Tabernacle, 6203 Richfield Rd., Flint. Pastor Mike Horne officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Guiding Light Tabernacle. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Euwell was born June 18, 1939, in Paragould, Arkansas, the son of the late Clinton A. and Alva R. (Drew) Horne. He married Dora J. Kingsbury on January 12, 1957 in Indiana. Mr. Horne enjoyed playing golf, wood working and mowing the grass at the church. Euwell retired from G.M. Plant 10 "Chevy in the Hole" as a fork truck driver with 35 years of service. Surviving are: wife Dora; son, Michael ( Lynn) Horne; daughter, Elly (Pat) Holloway all of Otisville; grandchildren, Michael (Silinia) Horne Jr. of Otter Lake, Philip (Christina) Horne of AL, Matthew (Shana) Horne of Davison, Caleb Holloway of Otisville, Roseann Horne of Roseville; great grandchildren, Melody, Tyler, Julianna, Matthew Jr, Horne; many sister and brother-in-laws; several nieces and nephews.
