Eula -Maedeen- Copeland

COPELAND,  Eula (Maedeen), age 78, a resident of Burton, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center.  Mrs. Copeland was born in Paragould, Arkansas on January 1, 1928.  She has lived in the Flint/Burton area since 1956.  Mrs. Copeland was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and she found time to enjoy knitting and quilting.  Surviving is one daughter;  Doris Coffman; 9 sons; Frank and Wife Linda,  Kenneth and wife Sonya, Darrell, Larry , Dennis and wife Sandy, Owen and wife Shiela, Ronnie and wife Donna, Gary and Irvan . Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren  and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Irvan in 1988, 4 children; James, Vivian, Basil and Wilma and a daughter-in-law, Beverly in 2002, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.,)  Pastor Scott Arnold will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery.  The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Copeland are being accepted by her family.
