MILLER, Eugene Vincent, age 85, of Eddyville, Kentucky formerly of Fenton, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd., Highland. Fr. Leo T. Lulko celebrant. The family will receive friends 9AM Wednesday until time of mass at the church. Visitation will be Monday 7-9PM and Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A scripture service will be 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center. Burial will be 11:30AM Saturday, November 10 at Kuttawa Cemetery, Kuttawa, Kentucky. Eugene was born February 14, 1922 in Rankin, Pennsylvania the son of Frank  A. Miller and Margaret Coyle. He was raised in Detroit, and entered into the Navy in 1942, where he served as a Naval Pilot and Commander during WWII. Eugene married Mary Frances Stinson in Howell on August 28, 1974. He was a business owner in the insurance industry for many years. Eugene and Fran moved to Eddyville, Kentucky in 2002 and loved the climate and the people there very much. He is survived by his wife, Fran of Eddyville, KY; 3 children, Gordon Miller (Nancy) of Petoskey, Cyndi Meyer (Mark) of Highland Twp., Sena Bowling (Wes) of Davison; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Mark Miller (Wendy) of Lake Fenton, Katie and Maria Meyer of Highland Twp.; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Connor Miller; 2 brothers, Paul Miller (Marion) of Livonia, William H. Miller of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Katherine Mitchell, Marie Bauer, Cecile Muller, Margaret McDonough and 1 brother, Francis Miller.
