Eugene Falerios

FALERIOS, Eugene Wendell - Age 88, of Grand Blanc, died Thursday, November 24, 2016. A graveside service will be held 11AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery, 4315 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Eugene was born in Flint, the son of the late Matthew and Lyle (Roukanen) Falerios. Mr. Falerios married Adeline Anne Prahl on February 5, 1955, she preceded him in death on October 13, 2013. Eugene served his country in the Marine Corps League and retired from the General Motors Buick Division Administration Building with 28 years of service. He loved the Saginaw Bay, enjoyed being near the water and had a passion for dogs. Surviving are: daughter, Susan (Chip) Sloop of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren, Rachael (Aaron) DeWitt, Patrick (Kandice) Sloop, Kelsey Sloop and Leslie Falerios; great grandchildren, Penelope DeWitt, Adeline Sloop, Everley Dewitt, Blakely Sloop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Campbell) Falerios in 1952; son, Mark Falerios in 1992; sister, June Perkins and brother, Wayne Falerios.
