Eugena 'Jean' Casey

CASEY, Eugena Jean  Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Holly Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with Rev. Paul Amstutz officiating. Burial will follow in Yerian Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9PM Tuesday, 1-4 & 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Jean was born April 29,1921 in Flint, the daughter of David and Greta (Coleman) Hudson. She was married to Harold B. Casey on November 2, 1946. Mrs. Casey was a charter member and first president of the Swartz Creek V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was also a member and past president of Swartz Creek American Legion Auxiliary, 8/40 Salon 230 and Linden O.E.S. #175. Surviving are: husband, Harold; daughters, Nancy and husband Leland Wrigglesworth of Gaines, Betty and husband Sandy Herron of Flint; grandchildren, Betty J. and husband Steve Krauchenko, Christina Herron; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Hudson of Florida, Donnabelle and husband Donald White of Lapeer, Donald and wife Jean Hudson of Linden; special friends, Randy and Sherry Browne of Whitmore; several nieces and nephews.
