MINER, Etta Marie - age 97, of Ann Arbor, formerly of Fenton, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Miner was born June 3, 1914 in Fenton the daughter of George and Lydia (Treubrodt) Green. She was a 1932 graduate of Fenton High School and a 1937 graduate of Albion College. She married Leo B. Miner on May 24, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2002. Mrs. Miner has resided in Ann Arbor since 1992 coming from Fenton. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, a life member of the Bayview Club and a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Surviving are: daughter, Jana Lee (Ed) Hood of Ann Arbor; son, Jim (Linda) Miner of Saline; four grandchildren, Julie Marie Hood of Chicago; Jim Hood of Ann Arbor; Andy (Elizabeth) Hood of Ann Arbor; Mike (Angel) Miner of Northville; four great-grandchildren, Amy and Joey Ackerman, Maddie and Abby Hood. At Mrs. Miners request the Rev. Dale C. Swihart, Jr. will officiate a private family service.
