Esther Stuart

STUART, Esther Edythe - Age 90, of Burton, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Funeral service will take place 1 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Harmony Baptist Church, 5106 E. Bristol Rd., Burton. Pastor Jeffrey Glover will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will take place at the church from 10 AM until the time of service Thursday. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.

Mrs. Stuart was born to Harry and Flossie (Seeley) Argue on March 30, 1930. She was the ninth child of 15. She married George Stuart on October 28, 1950 in Burton. Together they had 2 children, Rosalie and George Jr. Mrs. Stuart was a life long quilter and volunteered at Crossroads Village for many years. She was also a lifelong member of the Flint Baptist Temple.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Rosalie (Robert) LaBell of Burton; son, George (Iris) Stuart Jr. of Anover, WV; 10 grandchildren, Rebecca (David) Ross and their son, Logan; Jennifer (Rick) Walper and their children, Evie, Claire and Evan; Flossie (Rodney) Arb and their children, Patrick, Nevaeh and Jesse; Chief Warrant Officer II Timothy Stuart and his son, Timothy Stuart Jr. "TJ"; Michelle (Keith) Rawlinson and their children, Jay, Nathan and Patrick; Char Ice and her son, Justin; Kristi (Patrick) Lemasters and their children, Samantha and Patrick; Valerie Nichols and her daughter, Angela; Allen Hawkins and Andrew Hawkins; and sister, Helen Hulbert.

Mrs. Stuart was preceded in death by her husband, George Stuart; parents, Harry and Flossie Argue; 13 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
